We have expanded into Latin America. We have secured local payment rails across the region and built the relationships its companies' products will run on.
The order of operations matters. A product can reach a market from anywhere. Working in a market is different: customers pay the way they already pay at home, settlement happens on local rails, and the businesses behind it all have real presence. We put that foundation in first.
Local rails mean our products can offer local payment methods, such as PIX and SPEI, where they operate. They also mean our partners inherit that reach without building it themselves.
The expansion set up everything that followed in the region, including the established local entity us brought into the portfolio later in the year.
